We are bold in what we do, as we push for change in a bid to excite and entice with our greeting, giftware and stationery collections.

This is our story.

The desire to design elegant and beautiful greeting card ranges has been a driver for the company for 25 years. Trends and fashion have always played a huge influence to feed into the creative process and final output. Even though fleeting and ever-changing it has been a constant companion to us in the studio, and like any good friend, supports our maturity and growth of our personality. Reflected in all our designs is this personality, a personality formed from all ages and experiences within a northern studio in Manchester comprised of women, “fierce, sassy and wild”,
we laugh.

Our Collections

Greetings
Our original best-selling card ranges centre on style and luxury; of hand drawn illustrations beautifully foil embossed, hand finished with crystals to develop into award-winning collections.  Elements of this heritage form the foundations for Elle, Bleu, Number 78 and Luxe.
CoCo, Bee, and Wild Thing look to create something stronger in design that feels fresh and uplifting in spirit, with contemporary sentiments and considered materials set out to inspire and be inspired by. “We strive to be original” says Rachel Hare, Creative Director and founder of Belly Button Designs.
Giftware
Our breadth of collections fluidly moves with the changes of life, design trends and experience, as we are committed to create things from the heart, with love and integrity.
Limitless possibilities allow us to devise a portfolio of work that resonates with retail trends as we inject colour palettes and icons reflective of the exciting shifts that we’ve experienced together in greetings, into our giftware collection. The result: high quality, design led, gift bags, roll wrap, flat wrap, notebooks and china mugs.

Our first boutique on Burton Road, found in leafy West Didsbury, is the epitome of laid-back living with many of our customers returning time and time again for the personal service we offer and excel in.

Our beautifully light and airy Heaton Moor boutique is full of gorgeous gifts and a huge collection of cards. This boutique is situated on the wonderfully vibrant Heaton Moor Road in the heart of the village.
